@Donna does it make you sicker than metformin
I take it as part of my multivitamin tablet, it's included in there
I take it in a powder form just mixed in water. The brand is theralogix
@Heather is powder better than tablets?
@Dipti most multivitamins have it but the dosage is way lower if you have an actual problem.
Yes I swear by it! Definitely recommend theralogix’s ovasitol
I used it, also took maca root & other multivitamins as it's also known to help rebalance hormones. Along with losing 4st, managed to reverse PCOS in under a year after suffering with that and insulin resistance for nearly a decade. And now pregnant 👶🏻
@Charlie thank you for sharing this. Congratulations on your pregnancy! What's the UK supplier you use? I only find it in the US
@Bianca thank you
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I used it during my pregnancy. But definitely consult your Obgyn before using it.
@Ginka No, I was fine with metformin.
@Ginka thank you. I found a soluble one on Amazon under nature's best, took alongside something called acetyl l cartinine also which is supposedly good for insulin resistance. There's a guy on tiktok called drew Baird who talks all things insulin resistance and I found that helped a lot as a resource for supplements without being mis sold / going overboard. The thing that helped me most was calorie deficit and weight loss ultimately, as stubborn as it is to lose due to resistance. Xx
@Charlie thank you! I will look into it. It's very hard to lose weight when you have insulin resistance indeed. 🥹
@Charlie Drew Baird is amazing. Really helped me speak to my doctors.

@Donna it's exhausting spending years not feeling heard or it being understood that the main thing they're telling you to do to alleviate symptoms is the most difficult symptom of the issue you have. Vicious circles. I'm so glad it's getting more exposure now as I've been taken more seriously in the last year of trying to conceive than I ever have across ten of being diagnosed x
@Charlie Yes I was diagnosed in 2012 and they asked if I was trying and I wasn’t at the time so they said PCOS was “irrelevant”. Then I kept getting criticism for my weight and told I was lying about how little I was eating, which looking back was actually dangerous and I’m lucky it didn’t tip into a far worse place.
@Charlie so true doctors just don't listen to you and wait until they think you have a problem. Especially here in the UK
I tried, but it made me really sick.
