I have scans booked at 30, 34, 36 and 38 but I think it may depend on what makes you high risk X

I had 2 scans today and was initially told I would have one in 4 weeks due to gestational diabetes but that has now moved to 3 weeks due to other complications x

I went for 28 week growth scan today and they told me to book one for 32 weeks x

I’m the same 28 weeks and then 32 x

28, 32 and 36w provisionally booked In.

I have 32, 36 & 40 booked in.

I think it does depend on why your high risk and if the last scan was ok or not. Obviously they will do more if they are worried. I was told mine would be expected on the following weeks: 28, 32, 36

My first growth scan is booked for 32 weeks and then the midwife told me it will likely be every 2-3 weeks after that x

Damn I haven’t had a 28 week scan, I didn’t even know that was a thing. I’ve had three cervical scan 2 before and 1 after that was when I was 23+6. I’m 29+2 now but have 32 week scan on 12th May but I guess it’ll depend on baby’s size if I need another scan? I’m not sure how it works and tbh I don’t even remember what I got told I just depend on my appointment letters lol. But I’m sure it’s 32 weeks, 34 weeks then 36 weeks and that’s when they discuss baby’s arrival too x

@Zara not everyone has growth scans, it all depends on what risk factors you present with. The standard scans if you don't have risk factors are 12 & 20 weeks.

@Louise Oohh okay, Yeahh I had those and a couple beforehand as I was experiencing lower abdominal pain and then looked into my history and said I’m high risk. But I’ve had several midwife appointments and other professionals in relation to pregnancy see me so it’s been nice 🥰

@Zara it seems a first growth scan can be anytime between 28 and 32 weeks, depends on your care

I had my first grown scan this pregnancy at 27 weeks my next one is on wedensday at 29 weeks and if he's growing the same way as the last scan I'll then be scanned every 1-2weeks or 2-3weeks depending on what they see on wedensday
