You don’t usually have an appointment with the GP as your care is under the community midwives instead. Usually you self-refer and then they book you in for early appointments. If you phone your GP surgery, they can usually advise how to self-refer
Early pregnancy unit at your local hospital I rang the gp for anti sickness and gaviscon and I’m only 4 week got my hcg level test today x
The NHS seem to be encouraging self referrals at the moment and you tend to be seen by your local midwife team around 8/9 weeks for the booking in appointment. The NHS website has more specific information for your area about what you need to do now you're expecting
I’m also 7 weeks, got my first appointment next Friday. As others mentioned above, this was via self referral

You self refer with the hospital you want to give birth at and it’s not typically with a GP but your midwife that takes care of the pregnancy x
