Lactulose and sickness
My baby is badly constipated and the second time to the drs has been prescribed lactulose. She has 2.5ml morning and evening. We started this on 12th April and middle of the night/this morning she’s been vomiting. We are pretty sure it’s not a bug as she’s absolutely fine in herself, no temp, eating, playing, feeding etc. I’ve googled and it says it can be a side effect of the medication.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Drs is now closed and me and hubby can’t decide whether to stop the medication or not. She hasn’t kept any down today and hasn’t had evening dose yet.

It's essentially just sugar water (what my go told me) so it might just be too much "sugar" for baby, I'd stop and maybe ring out of hours tomorrow as it's bank holiday so doctors won't be open

i would say stop medication and in terms of constipation try organic whole milk after a few months of trying everything thats the only thing that worked for me x hope bubba feels better soon xx
