Anyone that tracked period/ovulation/conception, but gestational age is higher than anticipated after scan?

I was just wondering how common it is for babies to measure ahead this early on. I’m only 4/5 days over, but it just seems a lot this early on. I tracked meticulously as I was ttc for a long time. I’ll chat to the midwife at our next apt, but am I getting a potentially getting a whopper 😂? Or is this just completely normal. My flo app won’t even accept my new due date is possible.

Yeah, I used the flo app and when I went for my first scan. I went in at 11wks 6 days and then told me I was 13 weeks so a week difference. I think it's normal 😊

Thank you @Gemma! That’s reassuring to know it’s normal 😊

I'm sure it's normal. A lot of mums who I'm in a WhatsApp group with have had their dates changed so 😊

Mine is the opposite, Flo was telling me I should have week and a half more than the dating scan 🤷🏻‍♀️ and I track ovulation and everything but might have been a later implantation… it can be quite confusing 😅

Yeah I’m the opposite too - I track on natural cycles and should have been 12 + 3 at my dating scan and they dated the baby 11+6! I’m just sticking to my app dates as feel like I’m going backwards otherwise 😅

I think it’s quite common, some babies measure bigger and some smaller. I read that only 4-5% of people give birth on their due date, so I’m taking it with a pitch of salt.
