I am a first time mom... I only had a 8 week and 15 week.. my next appointment is at 25 week and post that I have more frequent ones .... My midwife is really nice and she said it's normal unless they need to monitor u more they don't have appointments.... I also have a consultant who I see twice a month so they are more frequent than the midwife ones
This is my second baby, I saw midwife 8 weeks, 16 weeks and next one will be 28 weeks
You should have your next appointment at 28 weeks. They book my appointment at the current one, so chase to get one and then make sure you have it in before you leave. You do get less than in your first pregnancy. After the 28 week you won’t be seen until 34 weeks. Then every 2 weeks until 40 weeks then weekly if you go overdue.
I’m in Cardiff, wales and my next appointment is 25 weeks if that helps! It does seem like it differs depending on area!
This is my first pregnancy 22weeks and I’ve still not met my midwife. I’ve had my scans with the hospital and everything is fine and flowing with them. But never met my midwife I’ve had two very quick (less than 5 mins) phone call conversation with her but that’s it. So feeling a little neglected
You only get your 12 and 20 week scan unless you are plus size then you get your measurement scans. When I saw my midwife they said for baby number 2 you rarely see the midwife for some unknown reason x
