Natural FET

Hi, I just had a failed medicated FET. We have one frozen embryo remaining and our clinic has offered us the option of a natural FET (but with a trigger shot) as I had some migraines with the meds on this last go. Has anyone got experience of this or faced this decision? What did you go with and why? Clinic say that success rates are about the same.

I’m so so sorry to hear your transfer didn’t work 💔 I had 3 failed transfers (untested embryos), then had medicated transfer with a euploid embryo that ended in a chemical pregnancy. My doctor wanted us to go for a natural for our next transfer as I had some endometriosis in my pelvis and the estrogen can cause it to inflame elsewhere. So we took her advice, did a natural FET with trigger shot and am now 16 weeks pregnant x

I’ve had 4 transfers in total, first two were unsuccessful and were medicated. Third was natural (with trigger) but resulted in chemical and my fourth was natural (with trigger) and I’m 29 weeks pregnant. I don’t thjnk the success rate changes, as you said, but I think it just works differently for everyone x

I did an ovulatory cycle, no trigger shot, just progesterone suppositories after I ovulated and before the FET. Transferred a LLM+20 and I’m 12 weeks today.

Hiya, after 3 failed medicated FETs, my new clinic has said to go with natural on next transfer. I also don’t ovulate every month. So they said they’ll put me on letrozol. Praying we both have our miracles, god willing 🙏
