Penile Torsion
Good morning mamas. Has anyone’s baby boy had to have surgery for penile torsion? My son is 2 months old and he has to wait until 6 months old to be circumcised. He will also be having a surgery for penile torsion because his penis is not completely straight. Has anyone else gone through this? What was recovery like for your son? Is his penis now straight? Did you notice any changes afterward?
We actually had the same circumstance, but we had to wait until 8 months because of availability at the children's hospital. They actually found once they got in there that it wasn't as bad as they thought it was, the torsion. So we wished we had gotten a second opinion. Healing didn't seem any worse than what I had read for circumcision in general. Feel free to message me if you want more details or have other questions Good luck !
