Who put $50??
even at $10 and hour for 14 hours that’s $140 so definitely more like $200+ because it’s 2 kids and a long ass time
I think at least 150 unless it's a true daycare situation. That's such a long day!
$200-$500 is responsible but depending on your area, cost of living, howoften .. the parent’s income it really can vary but at least $200 for 2 kids but I did put $500 because $200 is like for 1 kid where I live
I think it depends on if ur family or friends or if its someone u barely know . I accepted $100 a day for 2 toddlers bc we are family they are husbands cousins . Honestly id have accepted less but I liked providing fun games and snacks for the kiddos at my house so that’s where a majority of the money went .
Is this answer supposed to be based on daily pay or weekly?
At least $350 a day
I use a babysitter service and I pay $20 an hour for my occasional babysitter. I only have one child so I'm not sure what the service charges for 2 kids but I'd be looking at $280 plus tip for a 14hr day. I'd imagine this would possibly be at least doubled if I had 2 kids.
@Kayla tip for childcare?!
@Daija it's through a service. It's not necessary but I use it infrequently enough to feel generous and leave a tip when I do.
I’d set an hourly rate.
@Daija I’d have an hourly rate & set it lower than most my competitors, I’d leave with the correct amount my competitors woulda taken home cause parents would add tip to my hourly pay. 🤷♀️ I never expected it to happen, but it is really part of etiquette depending on the location your working / living in
@Parker 又 Love that for you. Hate the idea. I think tipping has gone wild I’d rather people who do services just set their prices to what they want and tip doesn’t matter.
@Daija yeah babysitting isn’t something I’d expect to get a tip from doing. Lmfao the first time it happened the parents did get home late so I thought it was them being chill & nice, but then I began regularly babysitting for their family and I’d always get paid more than my rate Lmfaoo Other families in the same town did the same thing, when I lived in different states it was not ever a thing that happened much.

At least $15 am hour is $210
I was a nanny/babysitter and 14hrs is a really long time. Definitely more than a hundred. Typically charge $20-$25 an hour just to babysit one kid
