I cried when the van picked up my 3 year old for developmental preschool, with all the same fears and more. It's so hard hang in there, air hugs

They have so much fun with the new friends they make and the learning and activities they will do! The first couple days are hard to leave them but since I’ve worked with headstart before I know that even if they are upset at drop off, very soon they forget you are gone and are okay and happy playing and having fun!

The nursery my son went to did 2 settling in sessions, with his direct practitioner. When it came to dropping him off on his first day he went straight to her, he laughed and I cried 😭🤦🏼‍♀️ Babies are so adaptable and will be fine, call as often as you like to see how they are and you'll soon find you're much more relaxed and comfortable with it

I work at a daycare and just had a 2 year old come in who’d never been in daycare before, I’m going to be honest he cried most of the first week but the second week he was laughing and running around playing! It does take a little for them to adjust but it’s really good for them socially and developmentally to go! I would suggest doing a short day the first day or two(:
