We've told close family who we see regularly but we won't tell anyone else until after the 12 weeks scan x
I told everyone in my family there needs to stop being this tabooo of not being able to tell people… first trimester is scary challenging and lonely so being able to communicate how you feel and stuff with family and friends will help… whenever you feel ready to mention do it xxx
I’m 6+5 and we told our families after our early scan on Saturday. Lots of tears and emotions. As for little announcements, there’s so many cute ideas online/on Amazon like cards and baby grows. Just depends what kind of vibe you want to go for. We got a babygrow for my partners mum and stepdad and cards for siblings and my dad and stepmum and for his Dad. Told my mum on FaceTime but have a little card to send her too
For our first baby we got a personalised photo frame that said ‘promoted to grandparents’ and put a scan photo inside of it, it went down very well xx
