The amount of women who said they don’t 😳
@Sam I know right 😳😳
I clicked I don't use but I'm also pregnant 😂 tracking your cycle is very common these days too. I'm also thinking of getting my tubes tied after this baby and I'd also still click I don't use, because it's the truth
I don’t at the moment as I’m pregnant, but I did like the copper coil. It wasn’t as bad being put in as I thought, just like a smear test, and I liked that it didn’t affect my periods or mess with my hormones. The implant was fine, I had two, I didn’t have any periods with it. The pill, I just am not organised enough for, I’d definitely forget some days.
I don’t believe in contraception outside of condoms. But I will just say whichever you go for, make sure to do your research on what it actually does to your body.
I said i don't use any, but I got fully sterilised 10 years ago. Thankfully, no more needed (I've been with my partner for 20 years, so not dating or anything).
I don’t currently because I’m pregnant but I do the fertility awareness method where you check your nasal body temp daily. BC really messed with my gut health after years so I quit it and went for a more natural method until we were ready to have this baby.
Condoms only here. Not a fan of pumping hormones into my body. Also been told by Gp that due to my family history I should steer clear.
Mirena coil
I've got the kyleena coil. Low hormone and smaller than the copper coil. I get a period maybe every 4 months. Not noticed an impact on mood or anything (i got bad spots on the pil) It's dreamy. Would definitely recommend
I'm currently pregnant but have had both the mirena coil and the implant. The implant was awful for 2 years, then settled a bit but i was so hormonal. The coil was OK, I'd still have very heavy periods just 1-2 days long. Post partum I will just be using condoms/fertility awareness. It took me 7 months to get pregnant, I'd be surprised if it happens quickly again- I attribute some of that to being on hormones for over 15 years!
@Sam lol I assume it's because pregnant/ttc wasn't an option or taken into account. Many people have commented they're pregnant so obviously don't need it and we've been trying to get pregnant for over 2 years so obviously no birth control then. And then my past birth control was the injection which isn't an option. I don't think it's mostly people just leaving it up to chance although who knows 😂
@Amber if you’re trying then that’s different but I can imagine a lot aren’t yet are ‘shocked’ when they get pregnant
I use the copper IUD and really like it. I forget I have it most of the time. I used the implant for 3 cycles then decided to use something else because I didn't like the scars it left on my arm.

I don’t use anything, I got my tubes removed for my birth control 😂
Tubal ligation 😆 🤣 😂
Depo injection
Depo shot then nex implant. Both to me are similar and not much mood swings, no excessive hunger, period varied from little to none
i’ve been successful with cycle tracking for 2+ years. i had the implant years and years ago as a teenager but would never do it again, i just don’t like the idea of synthetic hormones going through my whole body. i am going to try an IUD though because i need a break from tracking since we decided to wait on more babies for awhile. can’t lie im nervous about getting the IUD
Hormonal iud I love it
cycle tracking here too! but also having a co-sleeping baby who wont be left alone does all of the work for us tbh😅
I was on the pill for like 12 years. Since stopping it before conceiving I haven't gone back. I have a sex drive again and sex is actually more pleasurable off contraceptives for me. I hate having a period but I'll take having a period and using condoms for a better sex life experience.
I count and track my periods x
None and never will again. Once we're done having children, my husband will get the snip. My body has done enough for this family, so now it's his turn😊
I used to be on the pill. Due to a medical condition, I couldn't have any with oestrogen in them, only progesterone so I was a bit limited. Since having my little boy, they dont work anymore for me and I bleed continuously on them. So nothing for now as I don't want to try anything else. We are not against having a second baby though so if it happens, it happens
Marina coil for me. And tried them all over the years
My hubby got the snip after baby No.2 as I was on the pill for years and years and it really affected me and my cycle. I noticed after baby No.1 that my periods were like clockwork and not as bad as they were when u was a teenager and it was great so we used condoms until we tried for baby No.2 and then he got the snip as I told him I’m not going on anything ever again as it’s too much for my body
We are only being careful, using nothing 😅i guess too risky, but he is good at controlling himself, and not spraying it inside of me 🙊
The implant is the best i will never recommend the iud the pain I've heard people expirence it's a nooo

The patch!
I don’t use any at the moment because we are trying to get pregnant again But the only options I’m allowed to use is the pills or the patches
So I’m currently on my second implant and I think it’s affecting my weight, I’ve always been a big girl but I’ve found since I’ve been on it I have gained so much weight, (I have had a baby in between my first and my second implant so I know that can affect it too) and I know having a sweet tooth doesn’t help so I’m thinking of changing to a different form of contraception
