@Chloe I have also heard that babies should not be exposed to sunlight until they are six months old. However, the weather is very hot, and despite taking precautions, the baby might still be exposed to the sun.
It’s so hard to not have babies exposed to the sun unless you don’t go outside haha I’ve started using the Soltan kids stick for his face as didn’t really want to be putting spray around his head/ face where it could go in his mouth, the stick means I can control where it goes :)
@Courtney I go out a lot, and it's really sunny this week, I just keep my baby in long-sleeved t-shirts, leggings/trousers, summer hat, socks. I make sure the hood of the pram is covering him, and I also have this sun shade thing that clips onto the pram that way baby is always covered
@Hoda I completely agree, that's why I've got some. But I'll try to keep her exposure to a minimum 😊
Aldi sell their own kids roll on, I haven’t used it on the baby yet but on our toddler and it hasn’t caused any irritation etc, it has a 5* rating on the back as well as being factor 50
Spoke to a few mum friends about the same issue to do with not putting sun cream on a baby under 6 months but in my opinion as well as theirs, I’d rather deal with minor skin irritation than a sunburnt baby
Technically not meant to use sun cream until 6months, so no sun exposure. We go on holiday next week so won't be possible to keep her completely out of the sun, so we're using child's farm. Everyone raves about it so I assume it must be alright 🤷♀️ but thought I'd comment in case someone can also tell me a better one🤣
