I’m a stay at home mum so little one hasn’t needed to go to nursery yet. I’m thinking of perhaps putting her in 1-2 days a week, perhaps a year before she starts school just to get her used to the environment and being around other children. As I worry about how she will integrate otherwise. It’s so hard knowing what’s best for her / what to do. X

My little one doesn't go to nursery. We take her to the park and other places with children and she spends time with her cousin who is a similar age so I'm not too worried. My first born started around 2 years old and just did 2 mornings a week and we gradually built it up and by the time she was ready for school she was doing 5 full days. At this age I wouldn't worry x

I haven't sent mine to nursery yet either and probably won't. He goes to my gym's creche three times a week for an our or 2 at a time and baby groups the other days. I think as long as they have some interaction with kids their age should be fine. They don't really start playing together until later on anyway
