I’m getting ready to have my 2nd in June and my SIL is throwing me a nesting party instead of a shower. People are coming to help me bulk prep food to stash in the freezer, organize the nursery, and prepare some activities for my toddler. She also gifted us a house cleaning! Literally the most thoughtful things! I’m having the same gender in almost the same month so we really didn’t need much either. My stressors were how will I entertain and feed my toddler in those early transition weeks? She is knocking out all of that anxiety with this nesting party! That said, I agree with the comment above about food. Easy to grab snacks or frozen dump meals for the whole family would probably be so helpful for her!
Face masks and hand cream for relaxing and dry hands from washing them so much. Or a nice Stanley/cup for all the water you’ll drink, snacks for feedings, a nice outfit bc clothes don’t fit for a bit postpartum or a cute pj set
Great suggestions, thanks everyone!!!
An in home massage!

Food! High nutrient foods like bone broth, chicken soup, and other warming foods. As well as high quality snacks. I loved protein oat balls while breastfeeding so I wouldn’t snack on junky stuff with the hunger. Or if there’s a smell you know she likes, maybe a scented soap bar?? I was sooo sweaty postpartum lol
