To add to above, we got ours second hand on FB Marketplace and saved over half. And now we have used it for 2 kids. I think itās totally possible to find the pram you like the most (test it in the shop) and then get a decent one second hand.
@Louise thank you! Thatās so helpful. Did you have a car seat that fit the pram frame? Or was it a case of carrying the carseat?
Our pram came with adapters that we add and then the car seat slots onto the pram base. Iām pretty sure it was advertised as a pram that works 3 ways - with the carrycot, with the car seat and then with the normal pram seat.
I got my full travel system from the nursery store online and it was under £600. It's Joie so it's not an unknown brand or anything. I think ones like iCandy are so over priced just because of the brand! X
We've only just stopped using our joie dlx at 26months, and that's because it was too high for him to get in himself and he was walking a lot more. The big brands are expensive but lots of options out there.
Oyster, they fit your spec!!

Had a baby in 2021 and just had another in April 2025, here are my thoughts on prams: - I mostly only used the carrycot attachment if I was going on long days out or going on walks from our house. If I was out and about in the car, and just popping into a shop etc, Iād just keep the baby in the car seat. It meant I mostly used the car seat (although the first was a winter baby so we did less daytime walks) - I also avoided taking the carrycot when we went away on holiday because it took so much room in the car, so again relied on the car seat more. - We have a Nuna and love how light it is. We still used the pram well past his 1st birthday as our main pram because I liked having a bigger basket underneath and the cheaper seated prams donāt tend to have that. - We did eventually get a cheaper second one which was good when we wanted more boot space or went on holiday, but I did prefer the bigger one. It was nicer to push, smoother, more comfortable for the kid and better storage.
