What do you do if you need babysitting one off?
Hi I'm really at odds here, started a new job so for now I'm going into the office when they ask me to. My dd goes to nursery twice a week but this week I need to go in on a day she won't be going in.
The nursery said they don't have space for an extra day and a Childminder I recently connected with also isn't available that day.
Both me and dad need to go into the office on that day! My family live too far and/or have work also.
What can I do??

@Hails Thanks I'll see what I can find online. I think my issue is trying to find someone for 3 days time without doing any settle and without getting to know them I'm apprehensive about, especially to leave dd with them all day, (not just a couple of hours) where she might be uneasy :-(
Personally I couldn’t if baby hadn’t already spent time with the child carer, can dad not take a days holiday as it’s a one off?
Personally I would explain to work there is set days where you can go into the office i.e days when she is in nursery. Unless you are fully office based this should be reasonable as it’s unrealistic to expect people to find childcare at such short notice

Could you maybe see if there is any other child minders around that have good resemas than could watch your child for the day ovi you will make sure you are comfortable with that person but maybe search around on Google like nanny app or child care near me
