@Kovashya hello yes you’re right! There was absolutely no context to that haha! This is my boys hair, his dads hair and then my hair as a child, can’t use recent of my hair as it’s got heavier and heat damaged it’s not as curly, Thank you! I did try coconut oil but maybe I’ll have a look at some others x
@Liv also, if this is currently what your son’s hair looks like right now. I would just use an oil to keep it moisturized
@Liv no problem! With oils and honestly any hair product it’s so annoying lol. It can be heavy on his hair, but not on someone else’s. My son and I have low porosity hair, so that makes it difficult as well. Our hair doesn’t like moisture lol
@Kovashya oh he is gorgeous!! Yes I will keep using oils to see how it goes, so hard treating a different hair type because I have no clue! I guess trial and error I suppose, thank you for your help my love xxx
@Liv you’re very welcome! Goodluck ❤️
1st went curly at 4m 2nd curled at 10m 3rd well she’s kinda curly already at 10wks Coconut oil is really great for hydrating. And silk sheets are the way to go for frizzy/balding spots and helps with breakage!
My son's hair only went curly around his first birthday. It was so straight/wavy before this. For dryness, I put water and then Nalas baby oil and comb it through xx
@Liv from the pic of your son it looks like he has curl (just one) and his hair isn’t long enough for curls to form yet. It’ll get there
My sons is half white (my side also has curvy to wavy hair though) and half mexican (also a mix of curly to wavy in his family). My sons hair started curling a month old. We use the baby dove curly hair shampoo and conditioner. Then every morning use SheaMoisture detangler
My daughter is a quarter black (I’m half white and black and her dad is white). Her hair has been curly/wavy since birth, and has curled more since she’s gotten older. All we use to keep her scalp moisturized is coconut oil and a soft baby brush. Your son might have more fine hair, and until he’s older or hits puberty, it might curl or get some type of texture.
my son is half white half nigerian and he was born with straight hair that curled around 2 months, at bath time i use coconut oil and comb and brush it with a baby brush xx
My baby's hair is straight, when I wash it it has the slightest wave. I was super shocked because my hair is super thick & curly
Sometimes curly hair can take alot longer to grow! But will be lovely abd thick once it does ❤️
My son’s hair started to curl around 3 weeks. There’s no telling if your son will necessarily have curly hair or when it will happen. If his hair is feeling dry you can experiment with different oils and leave in conditioners. I wouldn’t put anything in his hair for hair growth as he is just a baby and not every baby will have a full head of hair right away. It can take up to 3 years. It would be hard to answer these questions because we don’t know what you or your partners hair type is or what it looks like and we don’t know what your son’s hair looks like either.
