Sorry to hear this. I had 4 failed rounds before my pregnancy but each time we changed up the hormones and instead of ICSI we moved to the more traditional IVF and it did the trick. We also ran lots of tests on my womb after the third round. Our plan if the last round didn't work was to look at genetic testing of the embryos. Wishing you lots of luck moving forwards x
@Chi unfortunately neither took 😞 both times I never reached the optimum womb lining number either, but they believe I'm not likely to reach that anyways. Progesterone was increased the 2nd time. I also have a very low AMH so really hoping I'll actually have eggs go collect for another retrieval
@Charlie congratulations! I think the one thing we are definitely interested in is what we can do differently next time. My lining both times was below the expected 'magic number' but they believe this is my normal. So no idea if that's the cause. You just end up 2nd guessing everything
Hey hun sorry to hear that, all too familiar. If you don’t mind me asking when you say failed did they not take or ended in early miscarriage ? We had 5 failed rounds with one clinic and I had enough I changed clinics and done another full egg collection first round was chemical second resulted in my boys. The difference with this clinic was a SIS scan to ensure my womb and everything was able to carry - a personalised plan for me as opposed to a standard procedure and increased progesterone - all of which done the trick. My advice would be to ask what they believe happened and the best steps they recommend x
