I'm lucky enough to not have to send my son. We did try to send him as his speech is delayed but he hated it so much we just stopped lol
My boy been going since he was 9months old and love love loves it! Can’t wait to go - he only does 8-1 3 days a week and family has him others while I work. He settled so so well and loves his friends there Luckily I work in the nursery he attends and it’s basically open plan so I can see him room/group from my room also I work with and trust all the staff so know what they are like day to day not just on a ‘ofsted/settling day’ and trust them with my boy
I am also really struggling 😩 know how you feel my 2.5 YO started 3 weeks ago, shes had a hard time settling in so just doing half days atm, we are only doing 2 days a week so think it takes longer for them to settle. I have the biggest Mum guilt ever but we don’t have much choice as we are both working- I am due baby no2 and know I will like the time just me and baby for a couple of days a week but worst comes to worst I can take her out 😩 Hope your little boy loves it- it’s so hard x
I sent my little boy to nursery full time when he turned one. On the first day I sent him, he was happy as can be, taking it all in and I sat in the car and cried (more like sobbed) for a good 20 minutes! The mom guilt is real! But I can honestly say it’s the best thing we have ever done for him. He doesn’t even give me a backwards look now and runs in. He is happy, confident and has lots of friends. It’s so so hard to let them be looked after by someone else but it’s so worth it and do not forget, you need time for you as well! ❤️ good luck for Friday ❤️
Same!!! 😂 Heck! I want to attend the nursery and stay all day 😂🫣 We are settling on on Thursday! 😂
