Forward facing car seat

My son is 3 and currently rear facing in an axkid one which we love. He turns 4 in September and I want to start researching what car seat to get for him next when we turn him forward facing. He's currently around 20kg and 104cm tall. We have another baby on the way due in 7 weeks and the plan is to move them into the axkid one once they outgrow the infant car seat - at which point we'll turn my son round in a FF seat (I presume he'll be around 4.5). I'm confused about harnesses/seatbelts and what is safe for that age - could anyone point me in the right direction please?

Ideally you want to wait until your child is ready for a high back booster as it’s not advised to harness forward facing so ideally wait until closer to 5 years old if you can. X

You’ve already maxed out every harnessed option by height and weight, your only option for forward facing would be a high back booster and seatbelt. The britax kidfix pro with the crotch guard gives the best support for younger kids but it is still pretty young to be using a booster safely x

@Paige she hasn’t, the axkid she has is 25kg and 125cm rear facing
