Growth scan

I've just been for a growth scan and after being told the baby was on the 80centile by the midwife, it is measuring infact on the 25th. My first baby was always 90th centile, even after growth scans. Im now thinking that this baby is going to be tiny? I always thought second babies are usually bigger. Are growth scans even accurate? They told me my boy was the 95th centile in the end and he was 7lb 13 but super long! Worrying ill have a smaller baby now 🤣. I think I'd worry if there's was nothing to worry about.

I’m the opposite, my first pregnancy I got told baby was tiny and would be no bigger than 6lb, was born 7lb 10 at 38 weeks. Had my 32 week growth scan today and baby is estimated 5lb3 already at the 97th percentile 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have no idea what to expect as I know how wrong they can be!

What centile was your first baby estimated? It's crazy isn't it!

Our midwife put us at 90th percentile but the scan shows 60th have been told scan is more accurate

I had lots of extra scans with my first and they never showed a big baby, probably just below 50th percentile, but she was 75th and 4kg at birth (8 days overdue). I don’t think scans are very accurate

My first baby measured on the 80th percentile, she was born 7lb 9. This baby I’m measuring on the 12th percentile 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

@Lucy it's just crazy, it makes you worry, and probably over nothing! 🙈
