I have the same, I believe in most cases the uterus grows taking the placenta with it so may not be an issue later down the line x
I was told I might have placenta previa but they didn’t know for certain. Turns out I don’t but I did do a fair bit of research. General consensus was not to fly - travel insurance generally covers this. But the placenta can move and 9/10 times it does! So depending on when you’re looking to go it may have moved before then!
Same here, I was told that 1 in 20 women can present with low-lying placenta at this stage but only 1 in 200 still has it later on in pregnancy, so hopefully with the uterus stretching it will improve. 😊 I was also told it won't get any worse, but to come in straight away if I have any sort of bleeding whatsoever. I have an additional 32-week scan to check on progress. Overall I don't think it's a huge thing to worry about right now, although my consultant told me that if you want to be cautious it's worth not having intercourse. Not sure about flying I'm afraid.
Thank you all for taking the time to comment 🫶 I have another scan booked for 32 weeks - I’ll be having a csection anyway 🙌
I also have a low lying placenta and was told no flying and no intercourse until after the 32 week scan
I have a low lying placenta, have an extra scan booked for 32w to see if it has moved. If not, it depends on how low it is and if they think it might get in the way of having a vaginal birth. If it’s too low they offer a c section. Don’t think it has any affect on travel
