It's normal for bump to measure ahead or behind (±2 weeks). My last growth scan (31 weeks) show baby at 48% and my bump was measuring ahead 2 weeks. My baby has CPAM so we have regular scans for monitoring. My first pregnancy I was measure 2-3 weeks ahead for the entire pregnancy. My son was born 40+4, 8lbs 11oz 51 cm.
There was a student midwife took it initially and then my regular midwife retook it and both got the same measurement I’m hoping it’s just due to him switching position I wasn’t thrilled about him being so big but would much rather that then an issue hahaha
With my daughter I measured one week behind the entire time I know that they can measure up or down but they should still follow the curve it’s the fact that there’s only been one week of growth in 5 weeks that’s more of the concern
I was measuring 30weeks at 31 weeks and measuring 31 weeks at 34weeks (last week) had such an anxious weekend and then had a growth scan yesterday and all was fine. The lady at the hospital said the tape measure isn't very accurate but stops everyone being scanned every two weeks... I've also heard loads of stories from work of dodgy measuring so try not to worry though everyone said that to me and I still barely slept over the weekend 😆
