36 week growth scan

I’ve seen a few posts here about being advised that baby is big at growth scan and having induction / getting kept in hospital. I have my 36 week scan this Friday and at last scan baby was on 90th percentile with head down. I have also had raised protein in my urine so they want to do a bp profile and repeat bloods on Friday. Is there a chance they could advise me to have early induction / section if baby is still big? I would really like to avoid induction if at all possible as had a really bad experience with induction with my first baby. Also, I would like baby to stay put for while longer 😂 as I’ve not finished work yet and would really like to have some time off to rest, clean and get prepared. Xx

I was told baby boy was measuring big ( 98th percentile) from 28 weeks ! Had a scan at 36 weeks and was told he was actually on the 55th and was around 6lb 12 I was booked for induction but not due to size they didn’t really push one on due to it but he was born at 39+ 4 and he weighed 8lb 2oz xxx

It's always your choice, please bear that in mind. They can only advise. I don't know the specifics of your situation but I've heard so many stories of babies measuring big and they end up coming out regular sized or small sometimes. Wishing you all the best xx
