Timing of added gov funding... childcare payment
Can anyone say how long it takes for the government to top up the account with the extra 20% once you pay money into it?
We start nursery end of May but not sure when they will ask for payment, and so just wondering how long it takes for you to see the gov help in the account?

Following this too! Also for example if you put in £10 do they then add 20% so £2? Or do you put in £8 and then they bump it up to £10? The example online was that they pay £2 in every £10 (given that its 20%) but I can't figure out if I need to add £8 or £10 🤣
@Alison luckily my nursery works it out for us lol so they just told me exactly how much to transfer so that when they top it up it's the right amount, otherwise I'd be just as confused! But I thiiiiink it's like the former option you said...
