The buckle clips on the one he has for short trips in his nanny's car fan out and are starting to press into his thigh. I don't like it anymore
Just would like to know everyone's thoughts or opinions on what they like and don't like. I know some manufacturers are better than others and some specific styles in brands aren't worth it.
It's just hard finding one I like because I'd like to be able to sit him in them and see if his chin is off his chest but mainly walmart and target sell them and only have a few out.
Honestly you are probably better off getting a convertible one not a bucket seat. I find the head area looks more safe and give more room around the thighs. I have a big baby so we already switched. We have a chicco
I understand. I agree with Elizabeth that a convertible carseat is a better move for comfort.
If your child is buckled in properly (tight enough to where you can’t pinch the straps by the thighs or shoulders, chest clip at armpit level, car seat installed properly), all car seats on the market are safe! At 4 months your baby can move his head if he needs to. Whatever you do, make sure you don’t ADD anything to whatever carseat you get. Check out safe in the seat on IG for recommendations. Best of luck!
