Baby measurements

How many weeks will I be when my doctor will measure my baby and tell me how big he’ll be at birth? I have my 32 week appointment on Friday so is my doctot gonna do it then? 🤔

Mine didn't tell me until I asked. I only had an 8 week dating scan, 13 weeks screening scan, and a 20 week anatomy scan. Any scans after that are only if it's medically necessary. I asked about my babies measurements in my third trimester and was told she was in the middle at the 50th percentile at my 20 week scan but she ended up being born at 3.5kg and 53cm long (75th percentile for weight and 98th percentile for height) no scan will be able to tell you how big your baby will be with 100% accuracy

Not sure where you live which changes things. Most people are offered a 36 week ultrasound however it's not necessary unless they're concerned about babies positioning. The scans are not generally accurate and can be used as a way to encourage you into inducing. Also as a mom who had a baby in the 2nd percentile...the sizes mean nothing! Baby will change and grow so much so fast anyways.
