Baby struggling to poo

I have a little girl that’s just turned 7 weeks old, but in the last week or so, she has been struggling to have a poo. During the night she will wake up straining with no luck. It’s a good 20-24 hours between poos and I’m getting a little concerned that she’s struggling so much. When she does poo, they are a bit liquidy, but nothing of too much concern. For context, shes on cow and gate formula and takes around 2-5 oz every 2-4 hours and although generally a sicky baby, doesn’t suffer with reflux (to my knowledge anyway). I do the bicycle legs, etc. with her to help her too… but still no luck. Is this normal or should I speak to docs? TIA x

Gripe water seems to help my LO. She tends to poo couple hours later xx

My little girl was really sicky so we changed her to cow and gate and she was awful on it, she wasn’t able to go to the toilet at all, she was in so much pain. We’ve taken her off Cow and Gate now but since that formula she’s been in a lot of pain and straining to go!

Infant feeding team were telling my today there is something that can happen from 6 weeks called infant dyschezia which is basically the result of the developing digestive system and the process changing from a unconscious reflex to a conscious action. It causes their poops to go from 10 times a day to 2-3 times and can make them strain and grunt as the figure it out kinda looking like comstipation but then they have a normal soft bowel movement. It only usually lasts a couple of weeks. They did say though if it’s less than twice a day or poop isn’t hard best to get it checked out by a doctor.
