I like the Graco car seat we have. I recommend looking up a child passenger safety technician in your area to help you get the best fit. It was super helpful for my husband and I as first time parents.
All seats pass the same safety tests so technically one is as safe as any other. It’s a fit issue if her head is slumped forward. Make sure you’ve taken any infant inserts out if she’s past the weight requirements for that. And chest clip is at armpit level, straps are tightened just enough to pass the pinch test at the shoulder. You could also recline the seat more if that’s an option for what you have. And make sure straps are below or just at the shoulder when rear facing. If you still have her in an infant seat you could switch to a convertible at this point if you wanted to.
We have the Chicco & it was the best purchase she seems so comfy in there now.
For infant car seat we used the chicco key fit and then switched her to the chicco 360 and just bought the joie 360 for my husbands car And right now is a great time to get a new one if you’re interested. Target is having 20% off if you scan the barcode inside the store My baby also had her head forward a lot in the beginning. When I would sit in the back with her I would try to readjust but I think a lot of babies do it
