Reusable wipes…?

Hey 😊 we will be trying out the bambino mio revolutionary re-usable nappies and wipes. Heard good things about cheeky wipes though, will give them a go if the ones we have got are not enough x

We used Cheeky Wipes and were happy with them. Will be using them again for the new baby. Only downside i can think of is not convenient to take out and about so we tended to use baby wipes when not at home

And we also used Bambino Mio nappies - worked well for us but they don't tend to fit for the first few months. And as my daughter is a high percentile and tall, they also didn't last us all the way to potty training.

@Robyn ok that’s really good to know, thank you. I think we will do the same with having wipes when we go out, especially for the first month or so when it’s going to be chaos! X

@Emma for the first week or so we plan to use disposables just to ease us into life with a newborn lol. But then plan to start using reusables as soon as possible and if we go out like Robyn says will be using disposable wipes and nappies just to make life easier until ready. The type we got is ‘revolutionary’ which is new and meant to be from newborn unlike the ‘miosolo’ type and other brands which seem to be from a few months old. Might be bulky at first depending on weight of baby, but will definitely help even for just when at home and/or night time. Definitely check out ‘The nappy lady buying and selling group’ on FB and also vinted as they not cheap but definitely an investment. I’ve seen people sell bundle boxes that they’ve not end up using. I’ve got 20 complete set, but you could always start with 10 to see how you get on just depends if you plan to use them full time as they may go through up to 10 a day so just means you have some ready for next day x

I used cheeky wipes with my first and have just bought a few more to use this time around. Love them they’re so easy to use and so much more effective than normal wet wipes!

I’ve obviously not used them yet but I’ve bought some re-usable wipes from Poppets, mostly because I preferred the look of the smaller storage box option and (shamelessly) the aesthetics of the brand 🤦‍♀️😅 It’s a slightly different set up to Cheeky Wipes though, but same concept! My SIL still uses her cheeky wipes even now - and her kids are 5 and 7! The Nappy Lady (website) is having a sale at the moment and it currently works out cheaper on there than the bundles through Cheeky Wipes/Poppets themselves (if you’re looking to buy new) 😌 But as Shelby says, there are good bundle deals on Vinted!
