Boy hair cuts
My 2 year old son HATES when we try to cut his hair. It was easier to do a full overall cut when he was younger but it’s getting harder to even do a trim. I don’t want to stress him out and cause more fear. His hair is just like his daddy. Straight straight. Sticks up until it’s long enough to fall 😂 anyone else having issues cutting hair?
Do you use lollipops 🍭 it’s all that works for my 1 year old, also letting him hold a comb, the clippers, or let him “help” I’m a hairstylist and I always held the clippers and trimmers to the baby’s hand, turned it on (blade away obviously) and shake their hand and be silly and say “shakey, shakey, shakey” for the LOVE of GOD pls do not tell the baby it “just tickles” you’ll have them flinching, leaning away & worst of all, squishing up their neck on the trimmer in the back, sometimes laughing but baby no😭 it’s dangerous and inconvenient. But I agree, I always felt it’s not worth the stress and pain to have the baby in a full Nelson for a haircut. If you’re that pressed at that point just put some product in it. Not you, the other parents that would have their baby screaming and asking if I can fade it a little more 😳 lol good luck!!
