Percentiles

What percentile are your babies measuring at? I had my 28 week midwife appointment today and my boy is measuring at the 97th! I did think my bump looked big 😂

Opposite end of the chart here! 4th percentile at 28 weeks. Do you know the estimated weight of your little one? x

@Siân no my midwife didn’t say anything about that. I guess 28 weeks so things could change. And I’m due to have growth scans anyway (although doesn’t appear that I need them). Do you need a scan if you’re measuring small?

I measured 97th percentile at my 28 week appointment too 🤣 I’m hoping it’s a lot of fluid rather than her being big

@Laura how far along are you now?

50% at 26 weeks, everyone keeps telling me I’m huge but apparently not !

@Sophie oh sorry read that as the measurements from a growth scan rather than midwife! Yes that was my first growth scan and now have to have them every 2 weeks to keep an eye. Like you said only 28 weeks so plenty of time for change ☺️

70th percentile at 28 weeks, she said baby would be between 7.5-8.5lbs if they carry on at this rate which I’m happy with!

@Siân I was 3rd centile at 28 weeks and now 6th and I'm 30 weeks on Sunday. I'm going through the same checks bi-weekly too! Xx

Had an emergency growth scan today and baby is on the 99.9th centile... we were joking about him being a baby hippo with the midwife/sonographer but they're concerned. Lots of appointments between now and him arriving! X

@Emma aw how are you feeling? I’m 30 weeks on Tuesday and next scan is Thursday so hoping he’s come up a little or at least maintained along the 4th percentile rather than dropping! have they said much to you in terms of outcome/plan other than just wait and see? x

97th percentile... my first was also A 90s percentile she turned out a string bean with rather long legs 🦵

@Sophie I’m 30 weeks now. Have another midwife appointment next week and a growth scan at 32 weeks so will see what I measure next week and how accurate it is compare to the scan 😅

@Laura oh yes let me know! I am 29 weeks now and will have my growth scan at 32 weeks so will see what that reveals!

@Sophie measured at 97th again at my midwife appointment so really interested to see what my scan says Thursday!

@Laura oh let me know! I’m eager to know whether my boy is big or I’m just holding a lot of fluid. As the answer will make a difference to my birth choices I think. Have you had any thoughts on that?

I know I have a fibroid and at my 20 week it was measuring 7cm so think some of that is adding to me measuring big ( well that’s what I am hoping anyway) but yeah if she is measuring big it will definitely impact my birthing choice I wanted to go as natural as possible but would seriously make me reconsider

@Laura yeah if my boy is genuinely big and I know even scans won’t be 100% accurate I’ll be electing for a c section. Would rather go for one as planned rather than ending up with an emergency c section. Good luck with your scan!

@Sophie had my scan today and it looks like it’s a big baby 😅 32 weeks today and she’s measuring in 93rd percentile at 4lb 12oz 😬

@Laura oh wow! Mine is a week on Tuesday! Can’t wait. Really want to know!

29 week showed baby on 70th percentile, had 31 week appt yesterday and baby now on 97th percentile so having to go for a growth scan! Due 17th July, very interested to see what the scan result is on Tuesday 🤣

@Becks welcome to the big bump club lol. Everywhere I go people ask me if I’m due in a couple of weeks. I have to correct them that I still have 9 to go 😂
