How many scans in first trimester?

That’s what I’ll be having as I had an nhs one at 6 weeks for cramping and I’ve booked a viability private scan for 9 weeks and then the nhs 12 week scan I’m very anxious and I feel this will help x
I had a 5.5 week, going to have an 8.5 and an 11 week scan, I love seeing my baby 🥰

I had one at 6 weeks + 3 days. Once you see a heartbeat the chance of miscarriage drops to 5% so I didn't feel the need to have another. NHS first meet is 9 weeks and then scan at 12 weeks. At 12 weeks it drops to 1%. I found the stats helpful as I was worried in week 5 when I had very few symptoms. But apparently it's normal for some people. But if you can afford lots of private scans regularly, then why not :)

Yeah once you know the stats it takes a lot of anxiety out of it. Well it did for me :) Keep taking your prenatal tablets. Everything will be fine 🙂 Excited for you x
