Nausea and dizziness?

36 weeks and get nauseous after I eat and my stomach kills like I need to go #2. I also get dizzy almost every day in the afternoon. I don't know if its just because I'm tired? Is anyone else experiencing this? I have the worst health anxiety which just amplifies every symptom and messes with me so bad 😩 Google says its normal but it worries me 😩

hey mama, my biggest advice is that if you feel like something is wrong then go to the doctor! im 37 weeks today and i've been having some dizzy spells myself lately, turns out its due to having high blood pressure so it could possibly be happening to you love. around those times you need to rest your body, relax, and try snacking on something small. the cramping could possibly be your body preparing you for labor coming soon, like braxton hicks. i've been getting those here lately too, also found out im dilated and slowly been losing my mucus plug. to be better safe than sorry, i would get checked out by a doctor and trust your instincts mama!

Is your iron low or blood pressure? Drink lots of water and wear compression socks 🩷

@Kianna🇨🇴 my iron could be low, it was when I got my blood drawn a while ago but they haven't rechecked

When was the last time? Definitely get it checked because you need to have that up and regulated before you give birth. I’m also 36 weeks and am having an urgent iron infusion because my medical team dropped the ball and forgot to. I went into preterm labor and everyone freaked out over it. If you hemorrhage while giving birth and it’s bad enough it can cause death or you’ll need an immediate blood transfusion so please ask them to check your iron levels like asap and take your iron if you aren’t already. During the end of pregnancy these can be normal symptoms as your body is getting ready for labor which is intense, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Good luck mama 🤍 you got this! Give them a call tomorrow

@Kianna🇨🇴 I'll definitely ask at my upcoming appointment! Im so bad at remembering to take my iron pills 😩

Don’t worry I hate them too and sometimes I don’t take it because I’ll just throw it up and I find that pointless lol. Definitely get those levels checked and ask if an iron infusion is a good option for you. Just and fyi those transfusions can make you nauseous, fatigued, and can make you a lil sick aka headaches / joint pain. It’s a good alternative though if you need it
