If I had the money I would absolutely do it. I would be working out if I could do it over again too. I had two sons via c section and was fine. I had one vaginal delivery after that and I feel like I’m gonna piss myself every time I cough. I can barely jump on the trampoline with my kids without peeing. I’m 31. Definitely I would do it. It can’t hurt. I laid in my bed a lot of my pregnancy being a stay at home mom of only one at the time I did myself a huge disservice. Took me 4 hours to push him out and every muscle in my body hurt from pulling myself up into a sit up or crunch position to push every two minutes for FOUR HOURS. Straight. I still don’t know how I did it. But I just wanted to put it in perspective cuz I didn’t know how crazy it is I just thought it hurt your vaginal lol. Maybe a couple stomach muscles you haven’t used in awhile. Hell no, your tongue and forehead muscles that are working to push that baby out too 😂.
@Cassie sorry to hear that! You can still work on your pelvic floor to feel more Secure!
I did pelvic floor therapy before my 2nd kid and LOVED it! Mine really helped me get strengthened and stretched out for the birth, and I feel stronger postpartum. I wish I had had it for my first and will definitely do it again if I’m blessed with a third!
@Gloria was it useful or worth it or was the information things you can find on your own? I went to one postpartum but not during pregnancy.
@Cassie I also had a C-section so if I did all that training just to have another, it would suck.
@Beebs I didn’t do a course, but Cookies a lot of excervises. Guess it was Siegel as i had a wonderful birth experience! (Also did acupuncture etc)
What are your questions? Generally, the pelvic floor holds everything up and together. It is trained because it needs to be able to hold the extra weight and quickly get together again post partum. During birth the it needs to make room for the baby that’s it
