After not feeling baby very much at all today I decided to call triage.
I went in and they did a trace which they were happy with in terms of heart rate etc.
The doctor spoke to me because even after being there a few hours I still hadn’t felt baby.
They offered an overnight stay or follow up checks.
I’m going to go back for another trace in the morning and they’ve booked me in for a scan on Monday too.
I felt really well looked after and listened to.
I’m hoping I get some movement tonight to reassure me before I try to sleep.
Anyone been through something similar ?

Learn more about our guidelines.I've got a high anterior placenta. So, although it's anterior, I can still feel it all lower and to the sides. I find that if baby sits further back or further up, all of a sudden, I can go from strong movements to faint, if anything at all
I have an anterior placenta I’m currently 23 + 2 days I have felt him move quite abit since around 20 weeks only really small kicks at night I do get worried but I’m trying to hold of going to the hospital until I can establish a pattern. I have bits sticking out sometimes and can feel pressure right down so he’s definitely moving around lol x
Hi Charlotte. My placenta wasn’t mentioned at 12 or 20 weeks so I’d be surprised if it turned out to be anterior but perhaps it has moved. The scan will help on Monday I think.
I’ve had a few shuffles after eating some ice cream tonight which has made me feel a little better.
