Increased nausea = sign of labor?

Hey all! I’m 38 weeks today and had HG my entire first trimester, couldn’t keep anything down, throwing up a dozen+ times a day. It’s been doing a lot better since the second trimester but the last few weeks it’s been ramping up again. This last week I’ve been so sick and the last couple days it almost feels like I’m back to step one. I’m not throwing up as frequently but I can hardly keep anything down when I do eat, I’m getting turned off by food (even favorites!) and super nauseous. I’m back to throwing up water :( I’ve seen that nausea can be a sign of labor but the way it’s been explained is that it’s more of contractions can cause vomiting during active labor not really that long term nausea has come back. Anyone else with this experience? Am I getting close? Is this just the third trimester messing with me 😫 I just keep telling myself it’s almost over 🥲

I’m wondering the same as I’ve had increased nausea since yesterday and can stomach less food. 38 weeks tomorrow. I don’t remember this with my first.

@Amanda it’s been awful! If my stomach is empty I heave until I throw up bile, if I eat and my stomach rejects it (even if it’s just a little water or some chips) I’ll throw up, I can eat a whole meal occasionally and if I’m too full- boom or if I don’t lay down the right way, laugh or cry after eating- boom. It’s so tiring 😭 I just want to eat. I literally had 4 bowls of cereal for dinner last night because it was the only thing I could stomach and it brought back memories of only being able to stomach cereal my whole first tri. Ugh!

I’m 37 weeks 3 days and I’ve had really really bad heartburn and nausea for days now. The heart burn is causing my nausea and my inability to control my binge eating at times is causing my heart burn 🤣 yesterday was the first day I gave in and tried intermittent fasting to try and help my tummy out a bit. I’ve been on pepto pills and constipation pills for a week so my body is out of wack. Doctor last Monday told me nausea in the third trimester towards the end is super normal and usually because of heartburn and lack of space. I’ve also been wondering if labor is near but I have a feeling I’m going almost all the way to my due date. 🤷🏼‍♀️ In my case lately I’ve not been controlling what I eat. I’ve been craving sweets like muffins, donuts, brownies ect. So heavy carbs that fill me up. I literally cannot help myself which I’ve not been this way my whole pregnancy but also I just think nausea is kinda inevitable towards the end.

i'm 38 weeks and 5 days and i barely had any nausea in the first trimester. maybe got morning sickness 9 times out of the whole 3 months. i definitely have been more nauseous the last week/ week and a half. not super bad but like i was in the first trimester

i experienced that and just had my baby yesterday at exactly 38 weeks. i wanna say the past month i’ve been extremely nauseous and my heartburns been awful
