You should see if another place can take you in early this is usually around the time doctors offices get flooded with ppl and have long waiting list but I hope you can find something sooner 🫶🏾

Hi, I would say yes! I think no ultrasound/checkup from 6weeks to ~17 weeks seems to be a very long time to not know how your baby is doing or hearing it’s heart beat. Also I’m pretty sure you should be doing a NIPT and Nuchal test in between that time to check on baby. usually done around 10-14 weeks

Usually people only have 3 ultrasounds one when they find out one at 20 weeks and one at 34+ it's not uncommon to not have another one I wouldn't be worried unless you are high risk pregnancy

Yes, research local places near that do ultrasounds. I would be worried about that long wait as well.

I would! My first ultrasound was when I found out, my 12 week ultrasound is next week and my next is at 20 weeks. That seems like a long time to wait

I’m only getting one at 20 weeks through my OB. Unless we need a growth scan later on. It was that way with my last as well. Only reason I know baby is okay is we heard the heart beat on the Doppler at 10w and I’m able to ultrasound my self at work(vet clinic) .

Are you high risk at all? Otherwise I think according to docs it’s normal to have very few ultrasounds. It seems like one per trimester usually.

I would look into groupon for your area thats what i did because yes the ultrasound are spread far apart im 14 weeks and i just started going every 4 weeks and they only use Doppler

My next ultrasound is when I’m 19weeks my first one was at 9weeks. My husband lets me go to the ultrasound places outside the hospital to see the baby whenever i want to see him.
