Car seat

As soon as my little boy falls to sleep in his car seat his head falls forward. I’ve been having him in the front (all safety rules followed) because I think it is to do with the iso fix base as it doesn’t happen when just on normal seat with belt round. I’m due back at work in June and I work 45 mins away from home with child care near work, so the iso fix base would be so much easier but I’m so worried. Anyone else found this with any iso fix base? We have the ickle bubba car seat & base that came with it.

Same with us. Initially thought she was too big for the baby insert so removed it but it still happens! Also think it’s the isofix! I looked at some baby neck support things for car seat which could help keep head upright? Tbh we just go with it atm as she seems ok but at one point I was pulling over the car every 5 mins to readjust her head 😂

There’s some straps out there isn’t there that are supposed to keep their heads back but I feel horrible using them 😂 I’ve moved the head rest up and down too and it just doesn’t help. It seems like the iso fix base is on too much of an angle for them to lay back. I’m the same, I don’t mind if we’re only in the car 5-10 mins but have him in the front with me for long journeys. Just glad it’s not just my little one, thank you 🫶🏼😂 x

I'm in exactly the same boat! It is the only place I can get mine to sleep properly but I was pulling over every 5 minutes having to wake him up! I've been recommended a Facebook page to ask about it. I'll send the link in a mo. Definitely don't use any head straps etc as they're extremely dangerous in a crash.

@Jade do you have iso fix base too? Lovely thank you

@Toni Car Seat Safety UK Sorry I can't seem to link it here. Mine is an iso fix. I've tried everything else so looks like that might be the issue!

@Jade I’ve found it on Facebook. Thank you
