Talking

Does anyone else’s nearly 3 year old not talk? He goes to nursery, speech and language say they won’t intervene and he’s been assessed for autism but does not have it. Waiting on ENT but feeling so down about it. He says a handful of words but no where near where he should be, makes me worried for him starting school next year

My daughter is not speaking a lot of words. She is quite verbal and trys to talk but she isn't pronouncing words. She has come up with words that we understand for a lot of things. She can't pronounce a lot of words so a lot of her words start with L, N or D. For example, she calls her bag lie, cheese is Lee, pizza is deeta, pink is din, green is neen, jam is nam. She probably has about 40 to 50 of these kinds of words.

My son is severely speech delayed he says around 10 words that aren't very clear he's on a my plan + at nursery and has had a few speech and lanuage appointments he's been reffered to SCAAS but the waiting list is long. He's due to start school next year also but we have a few schools around by us that are really good for sen children.
