Breastfeed Baby Constipation?
My daughter is 6 weeks old and exclusively breastfed but hasn’t got dirty nappy since 48 hours. Lots of wet nappies though. Is it normal?

I thought the exact same!! Apparently breastmilk is a natural laxative so it’s very rare for breastfed babies to get constipated, my little girl went nearly a week without having a poop the first time&I thought she was constipated but it’s like babies are starting to have normal bowel movements now. She now pretty much has 1 poop a week. Nothing to worry about☺️🩷xx

My LO is breastfed too and poops once a week 🙃 As long as she seems comfortable and her tummy feels soft to the touch it's perfectly normal and not classed as constipation, but have a look at exercises and positions you can try with her to help.
