I had that during my pregnancy and had a planned C-Section. Was advised to be mindful of not going into labour and if there was bleeding to go to triage immediately.
90% of low lying placenta move, even after 36 weeks they can move they move with u uterus when it gets bigger u still have time for it too move x
Yes I’m 39 weeks, have an anterior low lying placenta but still enough room for a natural delivery. X
I am 24 weeks pregnant & I also have an anterior low lying placenta. I was told that it would need monitoring as it’s only 1.2cm from my cervix so would need further scans & should it not move up with the uterus as the pregnancy progresses that I would need a C-section x
I had the exact same 36 weeks had an internal scan and it moved massively so deemed safe for delivery. Don’t stress too much as they tend to move massively in the last few weeks of pregnancy!x
I have a low placenta and they do an extra scan at week 36. Then they do some measurements and if the head of the baby is too close to the placenta they schedule you for a c section before week 37 as you have a higher risk of bleeding .
