Oh dear, sounds like my husband. He wants to wear gloves to change her diaper. But keep in mind your water might not even break before you're at the hospital. It could be a trickle when it happens too. I plan to have puppy pads for the car but maybe explain your water breaking is unlikely to be like a tv show.

Both times the Dr had to break my waters. Both of those times it was shortly before I had to push.
No reason at all!! It’s something like only 50% of the time your water actually breaks naturally (or unexpectedly…) that said, I’m living wearing a pad since I keep peeing a little bit. 😅 maybe that’s a better solution if he’s expecting a mess? Also - is he afraid of you going into labor, or breaking water making a mess? Because diapers aren’t going to solve anything if you go into labor.

May I ask why?? I’ve personally never heard of wearing the PP diapers before baby arrives.
