Screen time at Daycares

I was talking to a friend who lives in California and she mentioned that her 2.5yr old daughter has screen time at daycare. I don’t think my daughter’s daycare in Connecticut allows screentime. She’s been there for over a year now and we have never seen it nor has my daughter mentioned it. So just curious. Does your kid’s daycare allow screentime?

Yes occasionally

I worked at a daycare in Portland where we did very minimal screen time. Mainly just miss rachel or Mickey Mouse clubhouse if all of the kids were taking naps except one

I visited a Bright Beginnings daycare, and they told me that for 3+ years (I think), they had movie days scheduled. The home daycare I'm at right now doesn't have screen time (as far as I know) In a previous daycare in TX that I ventured into, they had screen time in the afternoon until pick up, which I didn't love (for all ages).

Like a learning tv show for like 15 minutes on a big TV. Nothing else.

At the holidays my kids got to watch 1 movie in the afternoon at preschool (3/4 yr olds) on an old tv they rolled into the classroom. But for the most part they would listen to music from YouTube, but the tablet was turned over. I know the camp kids (elementary age) get to watch videos when they get back from field trips in the summer. But the other kids don’t get any screen time.
