@Deanna that's was my thinking but can't find a double buggy I like that isn't gonna coast the earth even second hand
Mine was £240 folds small it’s great it’s joie Evalite due xxx
Yeah I got the Joie Evalite Duo for £199, (kiddie kingdom website) it's good for going around shops etc but if going for long walks it can be a little unsteady so honestly I haven't used it that much (I put baby in the carrier for now and toddler in the single pram). I've bought a buggy board also just to see what it will be like, cost me £35 from Aldi (Lascal mini), but we haven't tried it yet so no comment there
Ive got an 18 month gap and current 20month old and id recommend a double! The buggy board is hit and miss if he will use it which makes it difficult as he wants to be carried! I got mine from fb marketplace
We got a double buggy too, the hauck duett II. So easy to get around, lightweight and it has a proper carrycot, which was my main requirement. You can get it for less than £300
@Noelia the bassinet is a must have for me but struggling to find any that aren't just strapped into the seat part. I like the style of the bugaboo donkey's but even secondhand they're out of our budget. A lot of doubles I see have Hoods that cover the bassinet what I really don't like.
Is anyone happy sharing photos of their buggy set ups please ?
22 month gap (very active early walking lg) and our double has been a godsend for the last 8 months, still use almost daily - OutNAbout double
@Amaya thank you I really appreciate it. I found a similar one that's like a full travel system but with the extra toddler seat at the from for just under £800. If you don't mind me asking how much was yours?
No worries, and I won't lie it was on the pricier side at ~£700 but it did come with a car seat too. I found a 10% discount code only which took it to around £600. I was more annoyed at myself as we had bought a pram for our first which was £400 and if we had any idea we would have 2 under 2 then we would've bought this straight away! Also to add, we did look at side by side prams but found they were just too big/wide. About 90% of them wouldn't be able to fit through our front door and as I don't drive I didn't want to be stuck going on public transport.
@Amaya can you lift that? We had to send it back because there’s no way I could go up one step, it’s sooo high and sooo heavy as the toddler goes on the front. I am very petite but even my husband struggled.
@Noelia my little girl loves walking but also loves seeing the world. I appreciate the suggestion but this style will make longer days out impossible with her
@Noelia it's definitely a two man job to get it in the house unless my daughter gets out the front!
Mines 16 month apart and having a double buggy is better for us as he gets tried after so long xxx
