Baby shampoo

Is it okay to use a gentle fragrance free baby shampoo on my 10 week old? does anyone else use shampoo or do you prefer water?

I use a small bit of the child’s farm shampoo when I bath my 9 week old, used it for a few weeks, just make sure it doesn’t get in his eyes, it says fine from newborn, I think it’s your preference! X

I’m only using water at the moment & wont be using anything for a while yet x

Have always just used water for my 8 week old, & more recently breast milk as a "shampoo" or hair treatment. Will be holding off any products for as long as possible personally but I'm pretty sure it's all personal choice x

@Steph doesn’t breastmilk make your baby’s hair sticky?

Nope, not at all. I pour it over her head at the beginning of her bath & kind of rub it in like shampoo (obviously doesn't lather up) & leave it in there whilst I wash the rest of her, then at the very end I rinse it off well with a jug of clean water. Doesn't leave any residue or stickiness & her hair feels super soft afterwards 😊

I use Nala’s and it’s completely fine!
