Baby bath soap

Any recommended bath soap for sensitive skin? Currently using Johnson’s top to toe for newborns but I think it’s making my 3 week olds skin even dryer? Skin looks worse after each bath time. Only a pea size amount used every 3-4 days.

We like Aveeno baby

Think it’s quite normal to have dryer skin at this age. We’ve used Johnson’s night time moisturiser every night after the bath since we’ve done daily baths (probably around 6 week old) and her skin since has always been really soft and not dry. People always comment on how sold it feels x

We find Oilatum bath products good for dry skin

Child’s farm for sensitive skin

We do dove sensitive skin wash!

Tubby Todd is all natural and is not harsh on their sensitive skin!

I use Sanex Baby, it’s hyproallgenic and fragrance free. It’s a bit more expensive but it is the best one used.

Don’t use soap?

Aveeno. Still using it at 17months as my LG has bad eczema and it’s been the only thing we’ve been able to use and also I used Vaseline inside of a moisturiser especially around the wrists and ankles. Helped keep her skin from getting dry when she was a baby xx

I used pipette when my son was little. He also had super dry and sensitive skin. I also stopped using soap during every bath (at the suggestion of our pediatrician). I would only use water and a cloth, and use soap/shampoo 1-2 days a week depending on how messy things were. It made a huge difference!! Hope this helps!

At that age u could just not use soap for a bit? And if breast feeding could add some of ur milk into bath? My 4 week old we still haven’t used any soap xx

Always try to use fragrance free products, child’s farm is supposed to be good and there’s also a brand called kokoso they do fragrance free bath soap, shampoo and body wash and even the coconut oil moisturiser x

Weleda x

We didn’t use any soaps until about 5/6 weeks and now use child’s farm. She had dry patches in the first few weeks so we avoided any soaps, but it sorted itself out over time xx

Aveeno baby x

We use oilatum baby wash, I think that’s what it’s called.

Nala’s baby stuff is really good and smells so good too although I don’t think we used soap until he was about a month old

We have been using oilaitum, it’s been amazing compared to aveeno or nalas and other usual recommended brands xx

Nala’s baby is very good I started using it at 1 month for my son
