If you haven't got your next to me yet I would definitely look at FB marketplace for that. I had mine for £35 and it had barely been used because their baby didn't get on with it! You can then get a new mattress for like 15-25 quid on Amazon and it'll save you about £100. I've also heard online4baby is pretty decent!
I'm not sure what your budget is but when I was pregnant, we booked consultation with John Lewis https://www.johnlewis.com/our-services/nursery-advice. They were really helpful. They showed us the different necessities they have (prams, car seats, cots) etc. No obligation to buy but if you do, you get 10-15% discount so we ended up buying our pram and car seat from them. Also don't forget to register to Amazon baby wishlist for 15% discount off eligible items. There are a lot of them and you get some free stuffs to register. Exciting time!
There is a shop called Baby & Co in Keynsham they had a medium range and were really knowledgeable. We didn't end up buying from them as got a good black friday deal online but would have if we didn't.
Hey :) I had my boy august 2022 and I used online4baby, which I now believe is called the nursery store. Has a range of prices for all budgets. When I bought stuff from there they had bundle deals, not sure if they have these any more but worth a look. Customer service were quite good too!
