PPD Meds
Has anyone taken meds for their PPD / PPA? What is your experience like and what are you on (if you don’t mind me asking)
I’m so scared to try meds. I tried Lexapro a few years back and had terrible GI side effects. Thank you!

Zoloft gave me psychosis. Effexor worked great.
Zoloft worked great. Couple of days of an adjustment period, but it really helped through that period!
Did Zoloft give you any side effects besides being tired?

I used to be on lexapro before & during pregnancy but when I was diagnosed with PPD & PPA the lexapro wasn’t working so I got switched to Zoloft. Zoloft works amazing I am about to be 6 months pp & you can tell it has worked wonders for me, from the day pp started til now my progress is amazing! The only issue I had when taking Zoloft was it made me tired for the first couple of weeks of taking it then after adjusting to it I have had no issues!
